Hearing Aid Payment Plan Options

HearingLife offers two affordable hearing aid payment plans under our Hear Now™ Financing to meet your individual needs and budget:

3-Month 0% Financing
If you prefer short-term, interest-free financing rather than one full payment upfront, make one payment at your hearing aid fitting appointment followed by three post-dated cheques payable before 90-day satisfaction period is complete.

1-5 Year Low-Interest Financing
Our 1-5 year low-interest financing is ideal for clients who need more than 3 months to pay for their hearing aids. Make one 10% deposit at your hearing aid fitting appointment, followed by a monthly, pre-authorized debit payment over the chosen term.

This financing is for both regular-priced and discounted orders from $1,000-$7,000 and is subject to an administrative fee. The interest rate increases with the loan term period. There are no age restrictions, and as long as you have a good credit history, you will qualify on approval of credit. Book an appointment today to discuss which hearing aid payment plan is right for you.

What can you expect at your hearing appointment?

1.Congratulations

You have taken the first step towards better hearing by booking your hearing test.

2. An initial discussion

Before your hearing test, your hearing professional will address any questions or concerns you may have. Your hearing professional will also ask about your medical history and any parts of your lifestyle that could affect your hearing such as your occupation and leisure activities. This is important in identifying the potential causes of your hearing difficulties.

3. Your ear examination

Your hearing professional will then perform a painless examination of your ear. This will help rule out other reasons, (i.e. earwax build up or infection,) as the cause of your hearing issues.

4. Your hearing assessment

When it is time to get your hearing tested, you will be asked to sit in a noise-controlled environment and wear headphones or earphones. Your hearing professional will then ask you to press a button in response to a series of tones. Your responses will help us know the exact state of your hearing health. You will also take a voice hearing test. Your hearing professional will ask the loved one you brought with you to participate. Voice hearing tests are most effective with a familiar voice since the listener is accustomed to that person’s way of speaking. Your loved one will read out a list of words at various distances as your hearing professional observes your comprehension.

5. Next steps

The entire appointment should take about an hour. At the end, you and your loved one will receive same-day test results, recommended treatment if needed, and advice on how to best communicate in different everyday situations, both with and without a hearing aid.
