1. Congratulations! You’ve booked your hearing test.

You’ve just taken the most important step to better hearing. We recommend bringing a friend or family member with you to your appointment.

2. Discuss hearing concerns, medical history, and lifestyle factors

Your audiologist will begin by asking you about your health history in order to get to know you as an individual, so that they can perform a series of examinations and tests tailored to your needs.

3. Physical ear examination

Your audiologist will conduct a visual exam of your ears to check for any earwax blockages or other irregularities. This portion of the exam will help the audiologist understand if there are any medical explanations for your hearing loss.

4. Comprehensive hearing test

Your appointment will include a series of tests – such as tone, speech and word recognition tests - which measure various elements of your hearing in order to gain a thorough understanding of the condition of your hearing

5. Same-day test results and recommended solutions

Based on your hearing test results, your audiologist will provide you with a counselling session where you learn about your results. If you have any level of hearing loss, your audiologist will provide recommended solutions.

You will be advised on healthy hearing practices and how to protect your hearing through the years.

We’ll assist you in choosing the best hearing aid solution for you. Most hearing aids are available in less than a week (custom hearing aids can take 2-3 weeks).
